The goal was to encourage women to care for themselves because women are the backbone of families and typically care for others before taking care of themselves.
In 2010, I was encouraged to seek CDC recognition as a Diabetes Prevention Program. After completing the initial program guidelines and submitting data as required FFS Wellness received full designation in 2012. Since that time, FFS Wellness has maintained recognition for our program.
